The random access memory, more commonly referred to as RAM, is the short term storage in a computer. Everyone program that is run on your computer uses up a portion of your computer’s RAM. Replacing RAM is one of the easier steps in upgrading a computer because CPU RAM snaps into place, and to remove the RAM is requires pressing two smalls at the ends of each piece of RAM. All other parts of the computer require tools to install and remove, save for the processor, which makes upgrading RAM much more ideal than replacing some of your other computer components.
